    Something similar was worn by aircrew piloting heavy bombers during WW2. The reason those airplanes were heavy was probably because of these jackets. This is the heaviest jacket I’ve ever worn – essentially its all that remains of a fat sheep. Well made and comfortable fit. My only criticism is the absence of internal pockets.
